Elizabeth Wickware

Dr. Wickware graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Duke University. She attended SUNY College of Optometry and graduated with both Doctor of Optometry and Masters of Science in Vision Science degrees. She graduated as the president of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society there. Dr. Wickware completed rotations through SUNY which included experience examining pediatric patients, managing ocular disease (including glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc), and managing pre- and post- laser refractive surgery and cataract surgery care. She also completed rotations through the Brooklyn VA Hospital's eye clinic, and an elective rotation in specialty contact lenses and prosthetics. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the New York State Optometric Association. She grew up in the Chicago area and is a huge fan of real deep dish pizza!
